2008-03-29 Homestead Miami Speedway Speed Jam
MIAMI—On March 29, the IndyCar Series once again kicks off its 2008 season at Homestead-Miami Speedway, and the field is wide open…. Will “Dancing With the Stars” champion Helio Castroneves cha-cha his way to the checkered flag? Or will it be three-time defending SpeedJam Indy 300 champion Dan Wheldon? It all begins March 29, 2008, at Homestead-Miami Speedway with SpeedJam 2008--featuring the 2008 IndyCar Series kick-off GAINSCO Auto Insurance Indy 300; the GAINSCO Grand Prix of Miami; the IndyPro Series Miami 100; and a full-day festival of car shows, Memphis barbecue, kids activities and live music. SpeedJam tickets, starting at just $30, are on sale now. Group tickets, suites, corporate hospitality and premium ticket packages are also available for SpeedJam. Homestead-Miami Speedway will offer season-ticket packages incorporating both SpeedJam and Ford Championship Weekend—home of the final race in the Chase for the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, as well as the finales of the NASCAR Nationwide and Craftsman Truck series. Season packages start at just $150 and guarantee holders seats for the Sprint Cup Ford 400, as well as provide for exclusive parking next to the Speedway tower for all races.
