Homestead Miami Speedway Speed Jam 2008

Get into the Grooves: Drive the Track at Homestead-Miami Speedway with Ticket Purchase for 2008 IndyCar Opener

HMS Solves Last-Minute Holiday-Gift Dilemma; Tickets on Sale Monday

MIAMIFuel-injected, 3.5 Liter V-8 engine? Probably not. Racing-tuned suspension? Unlikely. Horsepower of about 650? Give or take 500.

…But even if your own car isn’t up to IndyCar Series specs, you still can quench your need for speed on South Florida’s Championship Track—for a very limited time…

Tickets for the SpeedJam Indy 300—March 29, 2008, at Homestead-Miami Speedway—go on sale this Monday, Dec. 17. For those purchasing tickets prior to Christmas Eve, Homestead-Miami Speedway also will include the exclusive opportunity to drive your own vehicle on the track’s 1.5 mile, variable-banked oval on March 30, 2008.

“Pairing tickets to the 2008 IndyCar Series season opener with a chance to drive South Florida’s Championship Track is the most unique holiday gift we can provide fans,” said Homestead-Miami Speedway president Curtis Gray. “For anyone looking for a holiday gift idea, rest assured that March 29-30 will be an action-packed weekend here at the track.”

Helio Castroneves, Danica Patrick, Tony Kanaan, Marco Andretti and Dan Wheldon all are scheduled to race in the Indy 300. And SpeedJam 2008 also will feature the Rolex Sports Car Series Grand Prix of Miami, the IndyPro Series Miami 100, and a full-day festival of car shows, Memphis Barbeque, activities for kids and live music. Tickets for the all-day affair start at just $30, with group tickets, suites, corporate hospitality and premium ticket packages also available.

Homestead-Miami Speedway also is offering season-ticket packages incorporating both SpeedJam and Ford Championship Weekend (Nov. 14-16, 2008)—the final race in the Chase for the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, as well as the finales of both the Nationwide and Craftsman Truck series. Season packages start at just $150 and include Ford 400 tickets and exclusive parking adjacent to the Speedway tower.

Tickets for all Homestead-Miami events can be purchased at www.RaceTickets.com or by calling (866) 409-RACE. For packages, contact the Speedway representative listed below; for more information, please visit www.HomesteadMiamiSpeedway.com.
