Miami's fully licensed and only independent commercial radio station, WWWK Exito 105.5 FM, is now home to the new Saturday night radio show feat JONPITO and DJ JORGE OJEDA; Master Mix Saturdays.

The new show will run from 8pm - 12 midnight on Saturday nights over the airwaves of Miami-Dade County and the Florida keys. The Spanglish (English and Spanish language mix) show will naturally include the format of rare classic Disco, 80's and 90's Freestyle and House music, and some educational Salsa classics; however will also include and emphasize on NEO-Freestyle, Electro Dance, House, Spanish Dance music, Spanish rock and pop from Spain, Mexico, Columbia, Argentina, Brazil and many countries.

Master Mix Saturdays will be a mixed variety of musical styles and include charts and
news from other regions, interviews with all dance artist and DJs, special guest, on air request
and shout out line and eventually on location remotes in different venues. The show will also
introduce to the Miami airwaves a new generation of Freestyle Dance artist like Jennifer Glass, Vanessa Conde, M:G, Elissa, Malyssa,D'Luna/Diane Baez, Serenity, Mari P, One Voice, Nina Martinez, Miles Petty, Christina Marie and flood listeners with sounds of Chromeo, Tegan and Sara, The Gossip, Felix DA Housecat, Miss Kitten, ARNAU, Junior Senior, Supremeja, Royksopp, Rosabel, Jeanie Tracy, Alma Matriz,Celeda, Starkillerz, Amuka, and many others.

The MASTER MIX SATURDAY team of JONPITO and DJ JORGE OJEDA have a long extensive background in the Music industry. Both have been raised in the South Dade/Cutler Ridge region of Miami and graduated years apart from both Southridge Senior High and Miami Dade College, both come from a sound engineering background. JONPITO, who has also worked in television and music video production, also has a degree in Music Business and Education. With his experience in artist management and development, Sound Engineering, music journalism, event coordinating as well as handling A&R functions for labels and production companies; he brings a fresh vision to the concept of the show. Also not only selecting anthems by popularity for the show, but screening music for quality in production. "I hear and feel music as a consumer, a sound engineer and with a DJ mentality before we select or play anything on the show. I have that gift of listening to a song and say it is going to be a hit. Months later that same song is an anthem everywhere. With Master Mix Saturdays we get to play those records before the mainstream doesn't and also get to introduce new artist and new music at a commercial radio level. We have that freedom at Radio Exito 105.5, which is a trait that keeps it fresh”says JONPITO.

DJ JORGE OJEDA, has long been in the Miami radio scene since the early 80’s, has spun and continues to spin in the most infamous clubs in South Florida, also holds a Sound Engineering degree, along with extensive background in production, remixes, and DJ work. He started his career as a DJ at the early age of 11 in the early 80's. By the age of 15 he would be known all over South Florida as the youngest DJ on the radio under the alias "SOUND OF DESTINY DJS"; the same name as his own DJ company and his musical group "The Sound of Destiny". DJ JORGE OJEDA's mixing would be heard all over the now defunct RHYTHM 98 FM and classic SUPER Q "Discoteca Del Aire" shows. His talents as a DJ/Producer would land him in the DJ booths of night venues such as CLUB 1235 (Now Mansion in South Beach),Hot wheels Skating Center, Skylight Express, Club Nu, Facade; not only as a DJ but as a performing artist group SOUND OF DESTINY and their song "Its All About You”. Today DJ JORGE OJEDA spins at various Miami night spots and is the resident DJ at the yearly Freestyle Industry Showcase party, Tai Shan Ball, which has taken place over 10 years during the Winter Music Conference season in Miami. An event put together by JONPITO, JORGE OJEDA, the DESTUNE label and top current artist in the Freestyle and Dance music industry. DJ JORGE OJEDA's productions and remixes are currently getting radio and club play in international settings and are also found with massive digital distribution on Beatport.com, I-Tune, Starbucks and Verizon VCast music downloading sites. Fresh from the recording studios and the Dance clubs and into the airwaves of Miami, the MASTER MIX Saturday team brings a show full of youth and life.

MASTER MIX SATURDAYS will fill a void in Miami radio, quenching the thirst for current Freestyle and dance music and at the same time give Miami a show with a more international feel; while still keeping the show locally rooted. "The wholereggaeton and commercial trance came and went. Even the 80's Freestyle revival is overdone. Its time to move on to the next level and movement in Miami's airwaves and Radio Exito picked up the source direct from the underground. It’s now all Electro dance based and an English/Spanglish identity; not so "European", More MIAMI. The music is also more about good times and having fun, yet rooted to the city. Music today is influenced by Miami Bass, Hi Energy, Freestyle Electro Funk and Italo disco; a South Florida soundtrack backdrop. Freestyle, Electro Bass, Disco, even some of today's House anthems all hail from Miami or were filtered through Miami's people. People mostly raised on Arroz con Pollo or hailing from Miami's dance communities. With the fact that we will be doing the show in Spanglish is awesome, as we also get to show electro dance tracks from other Spanish/Spanglish speaking countries. The majority of the Miami listeners would not know if it is a Spanish or English speaking show, as 95% of them also speak Spanglish. A reflection of current MIAMI is the best way to describe it. It is a Spanish radio station though, but we will be throwing it down for everyone" - JONPITO
