Get ready to see Rihanna in 3D animation!
She’s the muse of nearly every fashion designer and one of the biggest Instagram stars ever, but now fans will get to see Rihanna in a whole new way! RiRi will play the first Black lead character in Dreamworks' upcoming 3D animated film, Home. In it Rihanna will voice Tip, a teenage tomboy who helps a group of aliens find a new home.
According to Metro, director Tim Johnson describes the film as a post-apocalyptic-alien-invasion-buddy-comedy. Based on the novel The True Meaning of Smekday, the synopsis reads: “When Earth is taken over by the overly-confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while the Boov get busy efficiently reorganising the planet.”
And of course she’s not stopping there. Rihanna will craft an album featuring original songs from the animated film.
The movie is scheduled to be released November 26.
