Katy Perry & Kacey Musgraves special to air on CMT
Katy Perry describes her CMT "Crossroads" episode with Kacey Musgraves as "when cowboy boots and Manolos collide."
The pop star and rising country singer come together for the special performance, debuting Friday night at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. They team up to sing each other's hits, such as Kacey's "Merry Go Round" and "Follow Your Arrow" and Katy's "Roar" and "Firework." They also sing some covers, including Dolly Parton's "Here You Come Again" and Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me." The two singers also discuss their music during the show.
And this won't be the only time Kacey and Katy share a stage. Kacey will join Katy later this summer on the North American leg of Perry's "Prism" tour. Musgraves will begin her run as Perry's opener in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 10th.
