NBC To Air Miley Cyrus 'Bangerz' Tour Documentary1
NBC is venturing into the wild world of Miley Cyrus. Next Sunday, the network will air a two-hour documentary going behind-the-scenes of the pop star's "Bangerz" tour.
Cameras follow Miley backstage during her recent concerts in Barcelona and Lisbon, giving fans a look at how she prepares to take the stage. The documentary will also feature some performances from the show, which is known for its controversial onstage antics.
NBC exec Paul Telegy says the special is meant to "examine what makes [Miley] such a global phenomenon."
"Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour" is set to air on Sunday, July 6th at 9 p.m. Eastern. Meantime, the singer herself is on a month-long break from the worldwide trek. She'll perform some rescheduled dates in the U.S. in August before taking off for Latin America and Australia in the fall.
