Taylor Swift featured in Toyota's asian traffic safety campaign

Taylor Swift is encouraging drivers overseas to protect themselves behind the wheel. The country-pop superstar is featured in Toyota's new safety campaign in Asia urging motorists to buckle up.

AutoEvolution.com says Toyota tapped Taylor for the public service announcements following studies that show just 25% of drivers and passengers in Association of Southeast Asian Nations always use a seatbelt. Fifty-six percent say they buckle up, but only when they're riding in the front seat.

Taylor's safety campaign is being launched in conjunction with her upcoming Asian "Red" tour, which includes stops in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines.

Swift's video and other traffic rules will be included in her shows. Taylor will launch her trek in Shanghai, China on May 30th.
