WATCH: Seth Meyers Says Goodbye To "SNL" This Weekend
He's set to make his final appearance on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" this weekend before heading off to take over "Late Night."

Meyers joined "SNL" in 2001, and eventually worked his way up the ladder and became the sketch comedy show's head writer. As for his work in front of the camera, Meyers is best known as one of the "Weekend Update" anchors. He's set to hand over the fake news desk to "SNL" player Cecily Strong and fellow writer Colin Jost. Meyers' "Saturday Night Live" farewell starts at 11:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC.

Meyers is set to kick off his "Late Night" run on February 24th. He's taking over for Jimmy Fallon, who is moving to "The Tonight Show" starting February 17th.
