WATCH: Simon Cowell's first interview on baby Eric
Simon Cowell says he “was born to be a dad” in his first interview since welcoming son Eric with Lauren Silverman last month.
The music mogul confesses to “Extra” pal Terri Seymour, “I actually said to Lauren beforehand, ‘What if I like the dogs more than him?’”
“And she said, ‘You’re gonna be absolutely fine,’ and then literally within seconds of him being born, I got it,” reveals Cowell.
The first-time father, who admits he cried at Eric’s birth, says he “wouldn’t rule out” having more kids.
“Well, I got [dogs] Squiddly and Diddly, and I couldn’t imagine Squiddly or just Diddly,” he says.
Cowell adds, ”I had a brother when I was younger, so I kind of think it’s cool to have two… or three… two.”
